Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary:

• The Industrial Maintenance Technician II completes preventative maintenance on industrial and facility equipment such as washers, dryers, ironers, conveyors, boilers, air compressors, WWT, pumps, workstations, etc. in the production environment to meet the demands of our client's customers.
• Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing any potential issues to keep the plant running at maximum productivity and facilitating the training of any Maintenance Apprentices.
• All duties must be completed safely and by OSHA standards and directives, report any unsafe conditions or practices to management promptly, and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs preventative maintenance on industrial and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issues to keep the plant running at maximum productivity.
• Maintain all equipment according to manufacturers and company recommendations.
• Develops a complete understanding of the CMMS system and can perform all non-administrative tasks within the system.
• Assist in training Maintenance Apprentices on proper preventative maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
• Work on expansion, renovation, and/or cost-saving projects as required.
• Safely performs all assigned duties and under OSHA standards and directives Reports any unsafe conditions or practices to management in a prompt fashion.
• Ability to work independently while troubleshooting and performing PM. Able to read schematics.

Education Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from a technical college or trade school diploma preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience as a technician in an industrial setting instead of the education listed above required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a team environment. (High proficiency).

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision. (Medium proficiency).
• Must possess the ability to use tools of the trade such as battery and pneumatically operated hand tools, wrenches, saws, screwdrivers, grinders, sockets, etc. (High proficiency).
• Able to read electrical, pneumatic, steam, and hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot electronics with the flexibility to work on non-electrical projects. (Medium proficiency).
• Possess experience with PLCs, motors, electrical circuits, compressed air systems, pneumatics, and steam systems. (Medium proficiency).
• Very good troubleshooting skills for both controls and mechanical systems (High proficiency).
• Completion of the Maintenance Tech II on-the-job training book (High proficiency).
