Key Responsibilities Of a Billing Specialist
- Answering and managing inbound calls for billing questions and disputes.
- Researching and determining the cause for the billing discrepancy.
- Producing monthly billing metrics, revenue analysis and reporting.
- Reporting progress, operational issues, and organizational opportunities to the operation and finance team monthly.
- Updating customer accounts with updated billing information and documenting all changes and notes to customer accounts in PestPac.
- Collecting payments and applying to proper account.
- Applying credit/debit adjustments.
- 2 or more years of experience in billing or collections.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to use a multi-line telephone system, scanner, and printer.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficiency in PestPac.
