Empower Speech Therapy and Life Skills Center is Hiring an Early Intervention Specialist Near Fresno, CA

Empower is thrilled to provide early intervention services to the Central Valley community. We are a multidisciplinary team of developmental specialists, who utilize our knowledge of early childhood development and collaborate with families to create individualized, family-specific therapy plans. At Empower, we recognize that the family are the primary agents of change in their childs’ learning and development. We utilize a systematic approach to family-centered and relationship-driven service delivery model.

Our Early Intervention Specialists meet families in their homes and community settings, and equip caregivers with functional and easy to implement tools and strategies to support their child's development.

We are seeking a qualified, skilled, and passionate professional to join our diverse, inclusive, supportive, and caring team as an EI Specialist. The right candidate is confident yet humble in their communication style, has a caring and compassionate demeanor, and is excited to positively impact the lives of each family they serve.

Qualifications:

  • AA or BA/BS Degrees in Childhood Development related field (e.g., psychology, speech-pathology, child development, early education, etc.) OR 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills; strong ability to build rapport with children and their parents
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to problem-solve
  • Appreciates ongoing supervision, collaboration, and collective problem-solving for each case; driven and passionate about providing high quality care!
  • Previous IFSP experience preferred (not required)
  • Previous experience with HELP assessment preferred (not required)
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Bilingualism is a huge PLUS!
