Job Purpose:
The primary function of this position is to provide continuous direction of the day-to-day operation in the Home program.
Essential Functions:
- Provide oversight and supervision to all assigned employees and ensure employees are providing quality services to the people receiving services.
- Ensure adequate staffing to meet the capacity of the people served in the Home program.
- Review and monitor documentation submitted by employees to ensure they meet the requirements and program policies set forth by the NY State Department of Health.
- Report all policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Facilitate weekly team meetings.
- Ensure agency-wide training is compliant.
- Conduct chart to ensure that employees meet the compliance standards.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Homes Team Lead.
- Participate in meetings with staff and people receiving services to discuss issues as needed.

Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree with 3 (three) years’ experience in the Human Service field. Bachelor’s Degree with 1 (one) year experience in the Human Service field.
- Must be willing to complete specific company required trainings as mandated by our governing agency, New York State Department of Health (DOH) at time of hire and annually thereafter.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Professional skills to effectively collaborate, resolve issues, and maintain confidentiality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to use poise, tact, and diplomacy, during difficult and/or stressful situations
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, and customer requests, while meeting deadline
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs to include Email, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License-a vehicle is required for business travel.
