*Instructor* *Overview:* Empowerment Enterprise II, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Instructor to join our team. As a subsidiary of The Community Church of Washington, DC-UCC, EEII is committed to impacting communities by equipping youth with essential skills through innovative programs. The Instructor will play a vital role in delivering engaging and educational content to empower students in various areas such as workforce readiness, college preparedness, entrepreneurship, and community development. *Responsibilities:* - Utilize university-level teaching methods and learning technology to deliver effective instruction. - Familiarity with Blackboard or other Learning Management Systems (LMS) for course delivery. - Design and implement adult education programs that cater to diverse learning styles. - Develop instructional materials using sound instructional design principles. - Create detailed lesson plans that align with program objectives. - Provide mentorship and guidance to students to support their learning journey. - Collaborate with team members on curriculum development and program enhancements. - Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying skill levels. *Requirements:* - Proven experience in instructional design and delivery. - Strong proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development. - Ability to mentor and support students effectively. - Familiarity with learning technologies and online teaching platforms. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage learners. - Passion for empowering individuals through education and skill development.
