I. SUMMARY
The Landscaping Lead is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and landscaping for EMR properties. Duties include maintaining all grounds equipment and maintenance vehicles, assisting with building repairs, and training of staff. This career requires at least three years of prior experience in landscaping and maintenance, prior management experience, as well as the ability to operate maintenance and landscaping tools.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains and ensures overall improvements to physical properties of EMR.
• Oversees all landscaping and grounds cleanup such as planting, pruning, mulching, and debris removal.
• During seasonal months will be responsible for ensuring completion shoveling of snow, removing ice, and clearing of all areas.
• Assists with repair and upkeep of all EMR locations
• Oversees grounds equipment and maintenance vehicles to ensure all equipment is working properly.
• Manages and trains staff associates, as well as scheduling for employees.
• Conducts weekly safety meetings with employees.
• Communicates any arising issues to the Building Manager.
• Enforces company policies and procedures to team members.
• Other job duties as assigned.

III. REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use and operate maintenance and landscaping tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

IV. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 years of prior experience in landscaping and maintenance.
• Prior management experience is required.

V. OTHER JOB DEMANDS
Work is generally performed throughout our Camden, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, and Delaware locations. Working hours may vary and evening or weekend work may be required. You may be required to stand long periods of time. You may be required to lift and carry light weights. You employee may be working near moving mechanical parts and will be in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions
