JOB SUMMARY:
The Shipping & Receiving position will be responsible for inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and product sample fulfillment.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and possess experience with UPS WorldShip, inventory cycle counts, and other warehouse operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Shipping and receiving of orders via UPS, FedEx, DHL and LCL truck lines.
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized warehouse space.
- Fulfillment of product samples shipped daily.
- Perform quality control inspections of incoming products and communicate issues.
- Work with carriers to ensure safe, accurate and on-time delivery of packages.
- Perform light assembly work and special functions needed around office.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous shipping, receiving or warehouse experience
- Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds without assistance.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx software preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
