Workspace Engineer I - Apple

The Workspace Engineer I role is focused on providing Apple support to clients across numerous verticals, with a focus on enterprise support. Candidates are expected to have advanced knowledge of Apple’s operating systems, intermediate knowledge of MDM solutions, and support-level knowledge of server-client and client-network interactions. Candidates should integrate well with customer organizations in order to provide both proactive and reactive solutions in compliance with Service Level Agreements while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 2/3 support and consulting for customers
• Participate in project scoping and pre-sales activity for existing clients
• Implement and manage the lifecycle of proposed solutions
• Take ownership of client issues and thoroughly document support processes and solutions
• Foster positive relationships and maintain high levels of communication with customers

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 – 5 years of related experience implementing and supporting Apple solutions
• Knowledge of general networking hardware and technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, and DHCP
• Knowledge of mobile device management (preferred: Jamf) tools and technologies
• Experience with scripting (e.g. Bash, Python) and open source tools (e.g. Nudge, Munki, erase-install)
