Position Summary:Are you a versatile leader with a knack for stepping into diverse roles and driving strategic initiatives? If so, EVG Specialty Network invites you to join our team as the Director of Operational Support and Special Projects.
In this critical role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our network by providing temporary leadership and support across various departments including operations, human resources, marketing, talent acquisition, and other administrative functions. You will also manage special projects and strategic initiatives, driving our organization forward during periods of normal operations.
Key Responsibilities:Provide interim leadership and/or support across multiple departments when department heads or key staff are unavailable.
Quickly adapt to and manage various departmental responsibilities, ensuring continuity and maintaininghigh standards of performance.
Collaborate with department heads to understand and address their temporary support needs, seamlessly integrating into the team.
Lead and manage special projects and strategic initiatives, developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among departments to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across the organization.
Provide training and mentorship to staff to prepare them for future leadership roles.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the organization's operations, policies, and procedures to provide informed and effective support.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on the progress and outcomes of special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or veterinary industry.
Proven ability to quickly adapt to and manage various departmental functions and responsibilities.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute special projects and initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Experience in developing and implementing process improvements and best practices.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including project management and office productivity software.
