The Estimator I role is a demanding and rewarding Preconstruction position within Endeavor Exteriors. This is a mid-entry level position with a great opportunity to develop within our growing organization. We also require construction experience, as you will be focusing on estimating exterior renovation and new construction projects including; roofing, siding, stucco, stone & brick veneer, windows, painting, and gutters on multi-family and commercial buildings.
The Estimator I role is a dynamic role that requires a team-based mentality. You will be chiefly responsible for producing quality estimates and proposals but will also be working with our Preconstruction and Operations teams.
Salary: $60,000-$100,000 base salary Commission
Benefits: 401k, Medical, Dental, and Vision for full-time employees (eligible at 60 days)
Once you have a qualified lead in your pipeline, you will work in tandem with the Preconstruction Team to complete site walks, on-screen takeoffs, office meetings, and any supporting research to ensure an accurate scope of work is identified and presented to the client. You must be HIGHLY proficient in exterior building systems and deeply understand the exterior construction trades we specialize in. The meetings and site walks will be coordinated with key stakeholders including; Preconstruction Engineers, Architects, Asset Managers, Directors of Construction/Maintenance, Maintenance Managers, Construction Consultants, On-Site Property Managers, Building Owners, etc. Because these key stakeholders play a pivotal role in the overall decision, expertly navigating these meetings and processes is crucial to closing the sale.
You will work alongside the Preconstruction team and be responsible for attaining all valuable information from the organizations we work with to thoroughly understand the dynamics of each project. This will be documented in Salesforce as you go through the sales process and will lead to the overall strategy of closing each project. Your attention to detail, ability to methodically work through project opportunities with different decision-makers and stakeholders, and build rapport are arguably the most important skills in this role, next to having a curious nature to ask the right questions and obtain valuable information. Challenging your assumptions and showing great judgment is crucial.
You will be responsible for presenting the project scope and value to all decision-makers and stakeholders. This format can vary between in-office and virtual meetings. This can also be done during an on-site walkthrough with all decision-makers.
