About the Position 

Energy Exemplar is seeking a motivated Senior IT Support Engineer to join our Global IT team at our Houston office. This employee will provide end-user support related to hardware, software, and Cloud (Azure & AWS) applications. This engineer will participate in various IT projects and be able to learn and adapt to an ever-changing technology landscape. This engineer must be highly organized, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and enjoy working with end-users daily to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

• Provide support to on-site and remote employees, managing cloud services on Azure and AWS, including user, tenant, and security administration.
• Handle Entra ID (Azure AD), user groups, and conditional access.
• Track and resolve hardware/software issues, configure, deploy, and support end-user devices, and maintain IT equipment in meeting rooms.
• Assist with employee onboarding/offboarding, implement SSO, MFA, and security best practices.
• Audit user accounts, licenses, and assets, and administer SaaS tools like O365, Zoom, and MS Teams.
• Support inventory, patch management, upgrades, and network troubleshooting.
• Manage incidents, monitor security compliance, and respond to security alerts.
• Create knowledge base articles, collaborate with vendors, and integrate systems during mergers and acquisitions.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications  

• Experienced in managing Microsoft products (O365, Intune, SharePoint, Teams) and cloud services (AWS, Azure). Skilled in deploying, repairing, and managing end-user devices (desktops, laptops, phones, printers) in mixed Microsoft/Apple environments.
• Expert in troubleshooting network issues, wireless, VPN, web conferencing, and software/hardware troubleshooting (Mac/PC, Linux/Windows).
• Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policies, Intune MDM, patch management, and OS imaging.
• Familiar with security tools (Qualys, CrowdStrike), VoIP (Zoom), SOC2, ISO27001, and MFA.
• Strong communicator, proactive, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor’s in IT, 5 years in senior IT support, 3 years in cloud technologies, with certifications: CompTIA A , Network , Security , MCSE, Microsoft 365 Security Admin, AWS, Azure Admin.

Salary : $75,000 - $105,000
