Responsibilities
- Coordinate project team comments and resolve any design-related construction queries with the design team.
- Demonstrate management qualities to encourage effective collaboration between design and construction teams to meet project goals.
- Understand project requirements, including the client brief, business processes, and employer requirements.
- Assist in mitigating design risks as part of the team.
- Participate in design coordination and progress meetings with the design team and sub-contractors, ensuring that design risk assessments are produced.
- Support the production of the Contractors Proposals.
- Collaborate with all pertinent stakeholders to formulate and oversee a pragmatic design timeline and information schedule.
- Champion the implementation of Continuous Improvement strategies and innovation.
- Verify that designs undergo thorough review and validation to achieve compliance.
- Mitigate health and safety concerns and address design intricacies.
- Relevant qualifications in design management or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
