What a Machine Operator Will Do
- Package all containers in the properly labeled cartons as instructed by the work order, while maintaining a high degree of integrity in packaging
- Check cap torques and weights as specified by the work orders
- Label each filled pallet of finished products to facilitate organized storage of finished goods inventory
- Assist in the operation of filling equipment
- Follow and complete work orders in order to correctly package the product
- Operate packaging equipment
- Comply with GMPs and ISO standards
- Perform various quality inspections necessary for production
- Apply a continuous improvement approach to Packaging area
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of materials, machines, tools, and production steps
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, plans and interdepartmental relationships
- Basic computer and proficient math skills
- Excellent organizational and team skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically with or without reasonable accommodations
