• Responsible for specification, selection, design, integration, operation and maintenance of airborne data acquisition systems, and their related components. This includes telemetry, flight test specific hardware, or prototypes for flight test evaluation. • Review & approve mechanical build, installation, and aircraft structure modification designs. • Review & approve electrical designs and schematics to include power supplies, signal conditioning, amplification, heating, and cooling provisions. • Oversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems, to ensure collected data can be properly displayed, processed, and analyzed. • Support travel to other LM sites A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience **Must be a US Citizen. BS in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science degrees or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with system architecture design.
• Signal conditioning, transducers, and data acquisition
• Flight test instrumentation operations experience
Desired Skills:
- Analog & digital circuit design and analysis
- Electrical design
- Mechanical design
- IRIG 106 Telemetry Standards - Technical team lead experience
- Data Processing experience
- FTI experience on multiple platforms
- Customer support experience
- Previous experience with Curtis Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware
- Technical background in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
