The mission of Tulsa Global District (TGD) is to invest in the Global District (map attached) by creating economic opportunities, fostering community building, and celebrating multicultural diversity. The Graphic Design intern is responsible for creation of visual assets for digital and print media, including social media content, and supporting additional Global District marketing efforts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with local businesses to create social media content highlighting the diverse businesses in the Global District
• Assist in developing social media campaigns that spread our mission to current and new audiences 
• Support staff in executing design projects from initial concept to final production, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and project specifications
• Other duties as assigned to support marketing and communications team

QUALIFICATIONS

Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include: 

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, etc.)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design software
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and composition
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for graphic design
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bilingual fluency is strongly preferred

Salary: The Graphic Design Intern position will be paid $20/hour for 15 hours/week and is funded for six months, with a possibility of extending this time. This position does not include benefits.
