Job DescriptionClient: We are currently working on behalf of a Principal Contractor that works with a number of blue-chip clients on a range of technically diverse projects. They operate primarily within commercial offices, data centres and healthcare sectors. On these projects, they have taken on infrastructure upgrades, plant replacement, office fit out, HV & LV upgrades and large chiller replacement projects.
They are based in Berkshire and a significant portion of their work is within the Thames Valley region. A lot of their work is generated through repeat business with clients they have worked with since their inception 20 years ago. Role: Technical Services Manager – Thames Valley Region – Between £65,000 - £95,000 Package This is a full cradle to grave role where the TSM will be based out for their Berkshire office working on a portfolio of high spec projects within the Thames Valley area. Responsibilities: * Carry out weekly meetings with MEP Contractors, to review progress and forthcoming activities. * Contractor's design, programme and progress * Monitor and report on Contractors Procurement and Labour schedules. * Review Method / Risk / Health and Safety statements * Testing and commissioning programme * RFI schedules and progress * Quality Management of MEP installation instigating Test and Inspection Plan * Commissioning management * Statutory Services Provider The ideal candidate will have: * Relevant Building Services qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) good understanding of both disciplines required. * Experience working with a main contractor or subcontractor. * Strong attention to detail. * Worked within a Fit Out/Refurbishment market In return they offer: * A healthy pipeline of work.
