Engineers will be confident in the assembly of complex mechanical equipment. You will hold a mechanical engineering degree in a relevant discipline and have significant demonstrable transferable industry experience. This is a small and very specialised business that works with a number of major manufacturers and research institutes on bespoke R&D projects. They are leading the way in materials testing developments, capability and innovation. You will work closely with the design, project management and assembly functions in all aspects of each bespoke project to ensure optimum results in terms of producing accurate data for tomorrow’s technology, that as of yet, no one else can produce! The company are seeking enthusiastic, passionate individuals looking for a varied and challenging role within a roll your sleeves up, all hands on deck family feel team based environment.
You will benefit from an access all areas environment where you will have exposure to the full testing life cycle. Senior Test Engineer (Materials Testing) * Assembly of specialised Testing machinery * Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid transfer, general mechanical assembly. * Run and monitor testing on new materials within controlled environments. * Record, analyse and report on all test data * Collaborate with assembly, design and project management functions on a day to day basis. * Have a passion for R&D, be a team player and enjoy variety and challenge in your role. * Have a desire to progress through a business and grow your career as the company grows
