Summary: This position will work in the Contract Administration Group reporting to the Contract Administration Sr. Manager. In addition to handling contract administrator duties, the person in this position will also be responsible for supervising a small group of contract administrators. He/she must have the desire and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as the people skills to supervisor others and the knowledge and discipline to work with minimal hands-on supervision. This position will support the Contract Administration and Intrastate Pipeline Commercial Groups by providing value added services such as:
Learn his/her employees’ job functions well enough to back-up or advise them as needed
Work with customers, Legal and/or Credit to get proper documentation to complete assignments, mergers and name changes
Interface with Legal and coordinate all contract/amendment requests
Draft contractual documents when necessary
Handle contractual matters related to new acquisitions, conveyances, etc.
Communicate with Commercial about contractual issues affecting them
Maintain a database with timely, accurate contract information
Special projects as required
And any additional duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To Perform This Job Successfully, An Individual Must Be Able To Perform Each Essential Job Duty Satisfactorily. The Requirements For This Position Are Listed Below:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience in industry in lieu of degree
8 years of experience required including a minimum of 4 years of related industry experience
Progressive experience including experience at a lead or supervisory level preferred
Excellent organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills necessary
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to resolve issues across various groups with minimal manager involvement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge of Quorum Systems for:
Marketing Contract Set-up for interface to the Horizon System
Service Revenue Contract Set-up including Paths and Rates
Knowledge of Horizon System for Marketing Contract Administration including
Service Expense Contract Set-up
Buy/Sell deal confirmations
Ability to think proactively, multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines with a sense of urgency

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
