Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Clamp Truck Operator for 2nd Shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and managing clamp trucks to handle, move, load, and unload materials and products, ensuring efficient and safe handling within the warehouse and production areas. This role is essential to maintaining continuous and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $21.50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Operate clamp trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, and move them to designated storage areas or production lines.
• Handle large and heavy rolls of paper and other materials using clamp attachments on the forklift.
• Inspect clamp trucks and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report any issues.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid clamp truck operator certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a clamp truck in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the 2nd shift schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Work Schedule:

• 2nd shift hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Days: Monday - Friday, with potential overtime on weekends
