Engelman Construction is currently seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all activities associated with project management including oversite/execution of project set up, project buyout, contract execution, daily progress tracking, and project safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Contract scope review and execution
• Project quantity and progress tracking
• Invoice coding and approval
• Identify and address budget deviations and implement cost-saving measures
• Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet project goals
• Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans
• Prioritize and enforce safety protocols and regulations on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
• Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and project staff
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project reports, change orders, and as-built drawings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in construction project management
• Strong knowledge and understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Understanding of MC2 is a plus, but not required
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
