Construction Drawing Proficiency: Understand and implement construction drawings accurately.
Overhead Work Skills: Comfortably work from ladders, man lifts, scaffold, etc.
Ductwork Expertise: Detail and install ductwork from field fabrication and drawings, including layout, sealing, and modifications.
Refrigerant Handling: Hold an EPA refrigerant card and proficiently handle refrigerant evacuation, charging, and equipment start-up.
Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools relevant to the HVAC trade.
Measurement Accuracy: Use tape measures accurately for precise installations.
Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
Brazing and Termination Skills: Able to braze copper refrigerant piping and terminate power and thermostat wire at equipment.
Documentation and Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate work documentation and ensure quality workmanship.
Safety and Workspace Maintenance: Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean workspace.
Age and License: 18 years old, with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
Experience: Prefer 4 years in residential HVAC installation, and as an HVAC sheet metal mechanic.
Certification: OSHA 10 preferred, but not required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Professionalism: Maintain a professional image and demeanor.
Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel overnight.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
