**Description**

This position is responsible for all of the following:

* Greeting all inbound/outbound drivers for all freight delivery and pickups

* Unloading and loading according to company procedures

* Visually inspecting all incoming freight before unloading, noting obvious damage or exceptions on the drivers delivery receipt, utilizing the driver as a witness

* Comparing inbound pack list and delivery receipt to delivered freight and match to company purchase order

* Noting concealed damage or counting variances in the Purchase Order and packing list

* Notifying Purchasing immediately of any exceptions and securing supervisors signature (per supervisors inspection) on the Purchase Order

* Stocking, Labeling, picking parts for sales orders and work orders

* Utilizing material handling equipment to unload/load all trucks in a safe and efficient manner

* Process all functions of domestic shipments including, review open orders, label, package all orders

* Schedule all outbound freight UPS, FedEx, LTL, hotshot etc

* Supporting the manufacturing process with safe material handling and picking parts as needed

* Maintaining the receiving dock, outdoor storage and warehouse storage area to utilize space, ensure inventory accuracy and keep areas safe and clean

* Emphasize and enforce safe work practices and encourage safety mindset at all times

* Assist all customers that visit the facility, in addition to, preparing all customer order pickups

* Perform assembly operations in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction
