Join the team of a nationally recognized organization as it looks to expand. The English Empowerment Center, an adult literacy nonprofit, seeks a Grant Writer for 30 hours per week. *Duties:* The Grant Writer is responsible for researching and identifying potential grant opportunities, writing grant proposals, and managing the grant application process to include reporting to grantors. *Qualifications:* The right candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and seven years professional experience in writing, submitting grant proposals, and reports to foundations, corporations, community groups, and government agencies. Strong creative and technical writing skills a must and exceptional organizational skills necessary. Compensation is mid $50s, dependent on experience, with excellent benefits that include: medical, dental, and vision insurance, up to 3% employer match for SIMPLE IRA, employer paid short term and long-term disability coverage, employer paid term life insurance coverage of $100k with additional optional employee paid coverage, and a generous PTO package and sick leave plus 11 paid Holidays.
