English Meadows Senior Living is Hiring a Dining Cook for Senior Living Facility Near Scott, WV
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Adheres to and conveys the philosophy of Assisted Living
- Has awareness and practices in accordance with State regulations
- Prepare alternate meals as required
- Ensure suitable meals are served to the appropriate Residents
- Plan community and individual Resident menus in conjunction with the menus prepared by a licensed Dietitian
- Ensure proper cleaning and storage of food, utensils, dishes, and equipment according to Health Regulations
- Knows and follows Emergency Procedures, Elopement, and all other procedures
- Must attend and complete all training
- Must keep Resident information confidentialJob Qualifications:
- Able to communicate effectively with fellow Caregivers and Residents
- Must be of good character; considerate; tolerant of aged and disabled Residents
- Maintains enthusiastic attitude and maintains dining ambiance
- Must be clean and well groomed
- Must be able to communicate with the Department head and kitchen staff and have willingness to help other Departments
- Self-Starter who is organized and utilizes time properly, requiring minimal supervision
- Must abide by established policies and procedures of the community
- Must abide by sanitization policies and keep the work area clean
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly
- Must have documented TB Screening
