They are seeking a talented and experienced FPGA Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge trading systems utilizing Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

Role Overview:

As an FPGA Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and optimizing FPGA-based solutions for our high-frequency trading strategies. You will work closely with our technology team to develop ultra-low latency trading systems that capitalize on the speed and efficiency advantages of FPGA technology.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with trading strategists, software developers, and hardware engineers to design FPGA-based solutions that implement high-frequency trading algorithms.
• Develop and optimize FPGA designs to achieve ultra-low latency execution, focusing on both hardware and software components.
• Implement and test trading algorithms on FPGAs, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and robustness requirements.
• Work on system architecture design to integrate FPGA-based solutions with existing trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to select and optimize FPGA hardware platforms for specific trading strategies.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance analysis of FPGA designs to identify and resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in FPGA technology and tools to continuously improve our trading systems.
• Contribute to the documentation of FPGA designs, development processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in FPGA development for high-performance applications, preferably within the financial industry or high-frequency trading.
• Proficiency in FPGA development tools and languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
• Experience programming in C, C or Python would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of digital design concepts, hardware architectures, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with FPGA synthesis, place-and-route, and timing closure.
• Knowledge of low-level hardware-software interactions and real-time systems.
• Familiarity with high-frequency trading strategies and concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
