We are looking for an entry level systems admin to jump in and hit the ground running! This is for a defense company specializing in helping out with government contracts.
TS/SCI Clearance needed
US Citizens Only
Role:
- Support the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
- Work on upgrades to computer components and software, management of virtual servers, and integration of automation processes.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
- Help desktop and helpdesk efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
- Utilize capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
- Monitors and manages all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Work directly with Senior personal
- Experience with regular backup operations and implements appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
