We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, implementation, and maintenance. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our information systems.
- Design, develop, and implement complex systems and infrastructure solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and develop solutions.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers and IT staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.
- 5 years of experience in a systems engineering or a related role.
- Strong expertise in system design, architecture, and administration.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
