SUMMARY
Are you a Drafter with SolidWorks experience and have a strong understanding of 2D and 3D modeling? If so, we want to hear from you. We are seeking an Entry-Level Drafter for a manufacturing company in Seguin, Texas. Hiring Immediately!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Play a pivotal role in the design and drafting process of generator enclosures and fuel tanks.
- Work closely with our experienced engineering team to bring our clients' concepts to life through precise technical drawings.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is a key requirement for this position, as you will be utilizing this software extensively to create detailed and accurate designs.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Utilize SolidWorks to create 2D and 3D models and drawings of custom generator enclosures and fuel tanks.
- Ensure that all designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Perform regular reviews and revisions of drawings to accommodate design changes or enhancements.
- Generate bill of materials (BOM) and assist in material selection for projects.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing design files and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D modeling.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with generator enclosure and fuel tank design is a plus but not required.
