Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while working closely with our physical therapists to support rehabilitation and wellness programs. Duties:

- Assist physical therapists in conducting patient assessments, exercises, and treatments in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, including setting up equipment and providing physical support.
- Prepare treatment areas and clean equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide general care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Participate in patient education and awareness initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required by the physical therapy team.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a physical therapy aide program or relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital or clinic setting.

Skills:

- Inpatient and outpatient experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Knowledge of geriatric and acute care.
- Patient care and rehabilitation experience.
- Familiarity with hospital and clinic procedures.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experience in physical therapy aide roles is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
