Enlightenment Home Care is Hiring a Caregiver Near Lacey, WA

We are looking for a caregiver to take on a client in Lacey, WA. She is in need of care 3 days a week plus transportation to and from appointments. Caregiver must have car insurance and a vehicle that can fit a wheelchair. Vehicle does not need accessibility modifications.

Weekly Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday from noon to 3pm, plus appointments

Responsibilities

  • Basic housekeeping (make the bed, take out the trash, sweeping, vacuuming)
  • Meal preparation
  • Oversee insulin intake, provide reminders to take medication
  • Transport to and from appointments
  • Monitor fall risk
  • Assist to and from toilet, empty bedside commode
  • Provide companionship and conversation
  • Well-being observation

Skills

  • Proven experience as a caregiver
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Respectful and compassionate
  • Good time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ethics
  • Physical endurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
