The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center’s (WJHTC) Laboratory Services Division has a Simulation Branch (ANG-E16) which includes the Target Generation Facility (TGF) and the Cockpit Simulation Facility (CSF). The Simulation Branch provides simulation support for controller and human-in-the-loop simulations in both the cockpit and airspace environments, through the areas of simulation design and development, laboratory integration, human-in-the-loop environments, and prototyping.

Aircraft Simulator Pilots needed: Airline Transport, General Aviation (non-commercial, civilian flight), Heavy Aircraft, and Rotorcraft.

Candidate will provide Aircraft Simulator Pilot Operator services to operate the Cockpit aircraft simulators at the WJHTC. The Candidates must provide simulated flight operations using aircraft simulators (according to their field of expertise) when requested by the FAA.

Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week onsite at the WJHTC, Pomona, NJ

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust. Must be a US citizen or 3-year permanent resident.
