EnSafe continues to grow, and we are adding an Engineering Associate to join our team in Long Beach, CA. This position offers growth, development and advancement for the right candidate.

What you will be doing:

• Coordinate and perform site assessment including groundwater, soil, surface water, soil gas, and air sample collection.
• Assist with and conduct Phase I and Phase II ESAs. 
• Work with Engineers in pilot studies and field testing for various/emerging contaminants.
• Provide design support for small and large-scale remedial systems to address soil, groundwater, and vapor contamination for sites regulated under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs.
• Review and assess O&M of remedial systems, operational data collection and troubleshooting.
• Provide data compilation, database management, statistical evaluation, and modeling.
• Assist preparing work plans and cost estimates.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors.
• Contribute to written technical reports.
• Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, and subcontractors.

 Qualifications:

• BS Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience related to environmental assessments and remediation.
• Possess or able to obtain EIT.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification. 
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and communication skills. 
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle in the U.S.
• Regional travel up to 35% on an annual basis.
