Primary Objective:

The primary objective of this position is to provide ongoing analysis, valuation and forecasting for Enstor Gas assets. The Senior Analyst, Gas Market Analytics will generate internal reports and create fundamental models. This position will report to and provide backup, as needed, to the Director, Gas Analytics. Advanced modeling abilities are crucial to this important role at Enstor.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor and analyze key factors in the global natural gas market with a particular focus on the US Gulf Coast region, providing regular updates to senior leadership, investor, Board of Directors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop proprietary view, conduct analyses, and assess asset valuations for Enstor assets and potential opportunities.
• Maintain databases, subscriptions, and external data sources critical for ongoing market analysis and pricing models.
• Construct fundamental models and generate internal reports for informed decision-making.
• Gather market intelligence on competing assets, new projects, infrastructure developments, and M&A transactions.
• Support origination, commercial efforts, new project development, M&A activities, strategic planning, and business development.
• Create and maintain corporate financial model to support strategic planning, pursue business initiatives, and evaluate financial performance.
• Create and maintain pro forma model for new project construction, financing, and investment rate return analysis.
• Support M&A pro forma, and other ad hoc needs.
• Collaborate with senior management to prepare presentations for board meetings, investors, and various events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in Market Research, Financial Modeling, and M&A Due Diligence.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in project management, effective communication (both internal and external), client relationship management, and stakeholder presentations.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, information technology, economics, engineering, science, or related analytical field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in energy markets, project or infrastructure development, and M&A transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of global energy markets, encompassing supply, demand, trade dynamics, participants, projects, and energy transition trends.
• Strong analytical prowess, quantitative modeling abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Business acumen to identify opportunities for value creation.
• Proactive approach with a focus on continuous process improvement.
