We are looking for a Staff/Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this position you will develop and scale thin film deposition-based process modules for roll to roll manufacturing working alongside a best-in-class innovative team!

Job Requirements:

Education and Training:

• MS minimum (Ph.D preferred) with very good fundamental understanding of thin film deposition by various techniques and their characterization.
• Ideally >10 year's experience working in a technology development / manufacturing environment in a related field, preferably with roll to roll processing experience.
• Strong track record of resolving issues and mechanisms to root cause understanding and solution.

Technical Requirements:

• Specific deep knowledge of Thin Films deposition and characterization by PVD, ALD, PECVD
• Detailed knowledge of supporting process modules and their cross- module interactions with thin film layers
• Strong experience in the design and analysis of structured experiments both qualitatively and quantitatively.
• Develop and scale well characterized, robust unit processes to manufacturing readiness. Own and support manufacturing ramp scale up issues.

Critical Skill Set:

• Attention to detail in all aspects of characterization, planning and documentation.
• Ability to lead and influence cross functional teams of 3-5 people of varying scientific and engineering backgrounds to achieve challenging technology and manufacturing goals.
• Strong problem-solving initiative across modules and functions- “do what it takes” attitude.

• Excellent communication skills (both oral & written).
• Operates with high ethics and integrity and is non-political.
