Project Manager

Peoria/La Salle/Galesburg/Moline, IL

As a member of the ENTEC Project Management Team, you will manage the delivery of HVAC, Energy, Retro-commissioning and Building Automation projects throughout the organization. This position will typically engage with projects once the job is sold, then direct resources inside and outside the company to deliver the project on time, within costs and with highest quality. At times you will be an integral part of 40 or more projects and responsible for getting the best results possible.

Responsibilities

· Managing and coordinating projects by serving as the project leader on assigned projects

· Determining and managing execution of work, manpower forecasts, and material resources

· Scheduling field resources and providing support to ensure an efficient installation and start up

· Developing documentation associated with change orders and requests for information

· Invoicing of project work completed to ensure positive cash flow

· Maintaining a working knowledge of general conditions, work scope and specifications of project and keeping all project team members fully informed on the project status

· Planning ahead to prevent problems, resolving any emerging issues before they become a problem, and identifying and managing risks

· Ensuring contractual obligations are met including compliance with safety guidelines

Requirements

· Knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems, or experience in related field

· Strong customer service skills

· Outstanding verbal and written communication

· Ability to work well individually and in a collaborative environment

· Flexibility – each project may require a custom solution and unique approach

· Exceptional organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

· Ability to manage conflict and solve problems

Preferred Qualifications and Capabilities

· Associate degree with 2 years of construction project management experience in the building automation or HVAC industry

· Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Anticipated Salary Range and Employee Benefits

· 1-2 years of experience: $65,000 - $75,000

· 3-4 years of experience: $75,000 - $85,000

· 5-10 years of experience: $85,000 - $100,000
