Entech Medical Staffing is Hiring a Front Office Medical Specialist Near Royal, MI

Entech Medical Staffing has an Immediate need for a Front Desk Medical Receptionist. In this position you will be welcoming patients and guests with a warm and friendly reception on the phone and in person. We are looking for someone very professional with excellent presentation skills with a kind a courteous manner. Must maintain professionalism and diplomacy, and follow specific standards as defined in the department professionalism policy.

Job Duties:

  • Accurately and efficiently performs registration and financial functions via Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to include: patient registration following guideline while ensuring the accurate and timely documentation of demographic and financial data

  • Obtain appropriate forms and scans into the medical record as department protocol.

  • Registers patients in appropriate status, following registration guidelines while ensuring the accurate and timely documentation of demographic and financial data; obtains the appropriate forms and scans into the medical record as per department protocol.

  • Collects, documents, scans all required demographic and financial information.

  • Direct patients to appropriate setting, explaining, and apologizing for any delays.

  • Estimates and collects copays, deductibles, and other patient financial obligations

  • Billing experience is a plus


Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 2-3 years in a customer service role in the Healthcare industry

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong phone etiquette

  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office

  • Medical terminology preferred

  • Customer Focus: promotes positive internal and external relations by actively seeking and being responsive to customer feedback. Ability to support and participate in continuous quality improvement projects.

  • Displays high ethical standards.

Pay Rate: $18-$21.00/hr
