Summary : Seeking an Installation Technician with expertise in hydraulics, 12v electrical systems, and fabrication for vocational truck assembly.
Job Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and equipment functions
Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
Basic welding and fabrication skills
Technical college degree or structured on-the-job training program desirable
Minimum 2 years heavy equipment field service experience preferred
Ability to obtain a DOT card
Preferred Skills :
Experience in reading blueprints, diagrams, and instructions
Proficiency with measuring tools and power tools
Hydraulic hose assembly, routing, and testing skills
Knowledge of stop / start systems wiring and programming
Operation of cutting tools like saws, plasma cutters, torches
Knowledge of pressure adjustments and relief mechanisms in hydraulic systems
Job Responsibilities :
Assembly of vocational trucks incorporating hydraulics and 12v electrical work
Interpretation of blueprints and diagrams for accurate assembly
Adherence to installation procedures maintaining quality standards
Participation in coordination meetings for project alignment
Precision measurements using appropriate tools
Hose / wire assembly following hydraulic / electric schematics
System setup / testing ensuring operational integrity
Conduct welding / fabrication tasks as needed. Utilize power tools effectively.
Recommend process enhancements. Uphold mechanical system expertise.
Fulfill field service assignments for heavy equipment maintenance.
Secure DOT card in compliance with regulations.
Pay Details : $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
