Summary: Seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with Linux expertise for the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RHEL / Vmware / ESXi / DevSecOps design solutions in a hybrid-cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of RHEL / Vmware / ESXi / DevSecOps design solutions

• Engage in hands-on engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control

• Implement VMWare and containerization-based tools such as vSphere, vCenter, and Rancher

• Troubleshoot issues within the environment

Requirements:

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government DOD - Secret issued security clearance

• BS/BA Degree in STEM (Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics) with 5 years of related work experience

• Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues

• Proficiency with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL6.0 )

• Experience with vSphere distributed infrastructure for an enterprise design

• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dell Products and administration

• Knowledge in Network designs and implementation

• Understanding of SAN/NAS designs and implementation

• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps developments

• Experience with Kubernetes design and implementation (CKA certification if possible)

• Extensive Linux development experience including enterprise solutions such as access control management

• Scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash etc.)

• Familiarity with Agile development lifecycle

• Knowledge of SAFe agile processes

• Understanding of Enterprise Application development & deployment processes

• Security certification

Pay: 40-60

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
