Summary : Seeking a Mechanical Field Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes, diagnose mechanical issues, and work on installations, upgrades, and modifications in industrial environments.

Job Requirements :

HS Diploma or GED required

Minimum of 3 years in an industrial setting or equivalent military experience

Skills in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance

Experience as an ironworker, millwright, or in facilities maintenance preferred

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferred Skills :

Aptitude for working at heights without fear

Mechanical inspection expertise

Fabrication of metal parts knowledge

Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and project engineers

Job Responsibilities :

Maintain and repair overhead cranes and related equipment at customer sites

Diagnose mechanical problems within heavy industrial manufacturing facilities

Collaborate with a team for major installations, upgrades, and modifications of equipment

Conduct safety inspections following OSHA guidelines; provide training as needed

Complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance while consulting with customers on deficiencies

Document hours worked, services performed; write service acknowledgments; manage paperwork efficiently

Pay Details : $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
