Summary: Seeking Project Managers with experience in manufacturing or construction, ready to manage key projects within the Construction Product and Metallurgical Industries.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction industries.
- Engineering degree or business degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
- Experience managing Capital Expenditures projects is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong leadership skills in a small team environment.
- High sense of initiative and well-organized work habits.
- Above average communication skills.
- Curiosity for technical aspects of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize job safety and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
- Manage all aspects of assigned project(s), including sourcing, manufacturing, installing, and commissioning equipment.
- Ensure design requirements are checked as per engineering policy before procurement.
- Select subcontractors or suppliers within company guidelines for project needs.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate construction/installation of engineered solutions.
- Manage human resources involved in the construction/installation process ensuring all safety, legal, and statutory requirements are met.
