Summary : Seeking a Machine Operator to provide tooling for production equipment by regrinding and sharpening tools, inspecting tool geometry, and setting tools in tool holders.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of related experience in a technical environment

Ability to set up, operate, and adjust a variety of Tool Room equipment

Intermediate-level skills in print reading and math computations

Knowledge of inspection techniques and procedures

Experience with CNC tool grinders

Preferred Skills :

Familiarity with working on lathes and other Tool Room equipment

Experience in troubleshooting tool-related issues

Ability to work to close tolerances and perform detailed layouts

Responsibilities :

Inspect incoming perishable tooling to ensure it meets print specifications

Utilize CNC tool grinder to regrind used tools

Inspect regrinds to print specifications

Set tools in various tool holders, ensuring they are within acceptable parameters

Support production machine operators in troubleshooting tool-related issues

Work on lathes and other Tool Room equipment as needed

Make routine decisions based on established Tool Room practices and technical procedures

Provide or receive technical information requiring explanation or interpretation

Maintain close mental and visual effort for extended periods

Pay : 17-21

Pay Details : $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
