This position will be filled as a Product Manger II or SR depending on relevant experience.
This position will be a hybrid role and preferably located in New Orleans, LA, but any candidates within Entergy’s Service Territory may be considered (Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas).
Job Summary/Purpose
KeyString Labs is the innovation hub of Entergy, a Fortune 500 Company. The KeyString Labs (KSL) team is comprised of technology experts, utility professionals, product designers and innovative thought leaders. We act as a catalyst for building new products and services, supporting internal & external innovation and transformation, and partnering in growing innovation and technology communities. KSL’s primary focus is new product development of customer-centric solutions. Some of our new products and services include energy resiliency services utilizing grid-edge resources, community solar programs, shore power solutions, demand side management technologies, and much more.
Product Management is a critical discipline that can connect Technology, Design, and Business to achieve product delivery. Product Managers uncover value, drive customer focus, and connect the dots to build, shape, and bring products to customers in a meaningful way. Product Managers own the vision and definition of the product; represent the voice of the user/asset and stakeholders; create, maintain, and prioritize activities providing the team with the information on what needs to be built and in what order. In KeyString Labs, Entergy’s innovation center, Product Managers are working on solutions related to Electric Mobility, Renewable Generation, Electrification, Resiliency, Digital Tools & Platforms, and more to improve the customer experience.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Define the product and own end-to-end product development; Facilitate the product value creation to meet milestones, deliver on expectations of key stakeholders, and support the delivery of the product in alignment with defined timelines
  • Support and facilitate the product teams’ vision of the product, supports activities with all key stakeholders to progress product through the life cycle
  • Work with strategic and product designers to understand user personas, pain points and stories, and to set priorities for prototyping and development
  • Collaborate on the process of clarifying requirements and delivery expectations with stakeholders
  • Develop feature lists, user stories, and product journey roadmaps
  • Contribute to the creation and prioritization of the product backlog
  • Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytical tools, and A/B testing
  • Define go-to-market strategy, manage MVP use, iterations, and timelines
  • Facilitates agile methodology with team on product backlog, creating epics and stories, sprint planning, impediment removal, and team velocity
  • Strategically coordinate the team to ensure understanding of requirements and to answer any questions; determining which work is done taking technical risk into account; exception handling and interventions
  • Contributes to the team to make quick decisions and manage conflicting product requirements
  • Ensure the central team and board are kept informed of product progress
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
Minimum experience required of the position
  • Product Manager II : 2 years of experience with real business impact (related experience)
  • Product Manager SR: 4 years of experience with real business impact (related experience)
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
  • Project management experience with ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Business domain expertise and/or IT expertise
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively both to internal and external stakeholders
  • Functional knowledge of Agile rules and practices and some experience with working in an Agile organization
