Overview

Position: Housekeeper Reports to: Chief of Staff Location: Bentonville, AR Position Overview: A private property with several guest homes, based in beautiful Northwest Arkansas, is seeking a dependable and experienced Housekeeper with a strong track record of providing general housekeeping duties. The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining several guest homes to the highest standards and will also be ready to assist the housekeeper of the primary home. The housekeeper will ensure that the home is always prepared for the principal and her guests. What you will do: - Thoroughly clean all assigned homes, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and all living spaces - Daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal task lists to also be provided - Grocery shopping and running errands, as requested - Stocking, organizing and cleaning kitchen and pantry areas - Consistently checking for damaged household goods, light bulb outages, technical problems, and any other household issues and reporting them to the facilities team in a timely manner - The hot water, television, built-in speakers, and temperature controls all must be checked the day before the principal or guests arrive - Sorting trash and recycling and taking them out daily - Completing pre and post arrival checklists for guest stays Qualifications required for your success: - 7-10 years of housekeeping and cooking experience - Self-starter with strong communication skills - Ability to pass extensive background checks and drug testing - Willingness to maintain confidentiality - Proficiency in home automation systems preferred Characteristics to support your success: - Strong culture of service - Highly resourceful, organized, detail oriented, proactive, excellent time management, efficient, deadline oriented and service focused - Attentive to family's preferences and style - Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information and utmost respect for family’s privacy - Professional presentation of self, positive attitude, calm demeanor and ability to handle responsibilities with ease - Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with professional and personal contacts - Ability to easily take direction and anticipate the needs of the owner and family - Flexibility and willingness to work odd hours when necessary Hours require flexibility: - The principal is in residence approximately 50-75% of the time - When the principal is in residence, the successful candidate will need to be flexible and available, working approximately 5-7 days each week for 8 hours at a time - When the principal is not in residence, the successful candidate should be available 3-4 days a week for 2-3 hours at a time
