What You'll Do:

• Design user workflows, identify new features for the UltraPCR platform and its associate products, managing the full lifecycle of assays and their software analysis tools.
• Conduct market research to identify high-value applications for the UltraPCR platform, including understanding market trends, identifying key players, and analyzing customer needs.
• Translate customer needs into comprehensive software and assay requirements, driving innovation in genomics tools such as digital PCR, qPCR, and NGS.
• Develop strategies to meet regulatory requirements, ensure compliance with industry standards, and serve customers in the clinical space with a focus on applying your design control experience to improve product development and quality.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, sales, marketing, and support teams to deliver a product that not only meets but exceeds market needs and company goals.
• Coordinate and track all product development activities, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion of projects.
• Act as a liaison between Commercial and internal teams, relay Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to inform product development, and train sales and support teams on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to ensure effective product positioning and customer support.
• Embrace the start-up spirit by wearing multiple hats and handling various tasks, from technical problem-solving to strategic planning and team leadership.

What You Bring:

• PhD or MS degree in Genomics, Biology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the genomics or a related industry, with a strong focus on product management for assay kits/design, software, and hardware development.
• Experience in design control and managing a product to ISO13485 standards.
• Deep understanding of writing and managing software, hardware, and assay requirements, particularly for technologies such as digital PCR, qPCR, and NGS.
• Familiarity with IVD, CLIA, LDT, and 510(k) submissions to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making data-driven decisions to drive product success.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, handling various responsibilities with agility and enthusiasm.

For this position, the base pay range is: $120,000-$186,000 per year, with equity of an early and promising startup.
