Our EHSTracks compliance inspection SaaS is growing, and we are looking for a sales manager to lead our sales to a large industrial customer base across various industries. Sales managers will be responsible for selling our SaaS technology and our consulting services that complement the application.
Sales Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
· Sell EHSTracks SaaS and Environmental 360 services
· Work with consulting team to cultivate leads and project opportunities
· Attend and lead trade show and industry events across the country to network and stay up-to-date on industry trends
· Travel to meet with potential customers across the country
· Manage customer interactions, lead development, and opportunities in CRM system
· Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work
· Work with the customers to ensure the SaaS meets the system requirements
· Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary
· Secure orders, guarantee product standards, and assure product delivery
· Establish customer rapport and acceptance
· Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands
· Help customers to solve problems with product usage
· Recommend new or improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective
· Prepare and negotiate proposals and pricing agreements in collaboration with the EHSTracks team
Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven track record in manufacturing or technical sales
· Competent at managing CRM data
· Proficiency in SaaS solutions and technology
· Exceptional problem-solving skills
· Great presentation skills
· Ability to convey complex topics and solutions clearly and simply
· Efficient collaboration
· Background in environmental, health, and safety or manufacturing preferred
· Two years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
· Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time to customer sites and industry events
Certifications and Education:
· A relevant technical degree, or a degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or applied science or related field is preferred but not required.
Basic Knowledge and Understanding of EPA Regulations and Environmental Compliance
