Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is available on first shift. Benefits: Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance 401(k) with a generous company match Free Basic Life Insurance Short & Long-Term Disability Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary Location: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263 Responsibilities: Operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates Prepare, set up, and adjust press brake as required by product plans and production schedules Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available Measure and align materials to be used Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications Perform routine maintenance on the press brake Maintain a clean work area Perform other related duties as assigned Education Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of a high school education or equivalent At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred Job Requirements/Special Skills: Requires working in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate brake press controls Ability to read blue prints Ability to understand brake dies Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, and calipers Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
