Location: Sacramento, CA
Minimum one year of experience in the operation of trucks used to transport temporary structures, equipment, materials, and supplies, as well as oil, petroleum, hazardous substances and hazardous wastes onto and off of a response site. Perform all types of trouble-shooting, repair, and equipment maintenance. Overtime and travel required.
Skills and Experience:
* Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required, and current 8-hour refresher
preferred if available
* Current DOT Certification required
* Valid CDL Driver's License required
* Must have familiarization and understanding of use and application of various types
of respiratory protection and chemical hazards
* Experience performing duties related to the clean-up of hazardous waste sites;
utilizing all types of personal protective equipment, have working knowledge of
commonly used field equipment and gear
* Working knowledge of standard safety procedures dealing with hazardous materials
* High School diploma or equivalent
