- Learn and perform advanced polarized light microscopy (PLM) techniques
- Analyze bulk environmental samples (asbestos, mold)
- Participate in annual laboratory accreditation proficiency and quality control tests
- Generate detailed analytical notes
- Calibrate microscope and maintain workstation
- Work collaboratively with team members and management staff to achieve lab goals, solve problems, and suggest future improvements
