Purpose of the Position
The Program Coordinator, Family Engagement ensures that family choice and family voice are imbedded throughout Ready Region Southwest and EO initiatives. As the facilitator for the Ready Region Southwest Family Council, the Coordinator leads the effort to identify families across the entire service area and engage those families in creative problem solving related to early childhood systems building. The coordinator also serves as the liaison between EO and other regional and statewide partners who work with and for families.

Residency and Travel – It is preferred that applicants reside in the service area and are available to attend early morning, evening, and/or weekend meetings on a periodic basis. They should also be able to travel independently.
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write briefs and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make compelling and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Valid driver's license and automobile insurance. Access to reliable, high-speed home internet required.

Job Relationship - The Program Coordinator, Family Engagement reports to the Program Manager, Coordinated Enrollment. The Program Coordinator must maintain an ongoing working relationship with other Coordinators, as well as Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents leveled positions at EO.
