Primary responsibility is to provide leadership, directions and supervision of staff in the daily operations of the Spa, including but not limited to, massage therapy, salon, skin care, spa reservations and spa guest services. The Spa Director is to be directly involved in forecasting and payroll. In addition, they must keep expenses within departmental budgetary guidelines. The Spa Director is to provide Isla Bella Resort guests and employees with necessary program guidance and coaching to ensure a positive attainment of organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this potion.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort. In addition, attendance at all scheduled skill development sessions is required.

Upon employment, you are required to fully comply with Isla Bella rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the Resort’s facilities.

Job Specific Physical Requirements

• Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by the Resort’s environmental systems.
• Must be able to stand up to 7 hours per day. Length of time of these tasks may vary.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other department of the Resort on a timely basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally,
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Speaking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coaches and team members.
• Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
• Must have finder dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printer, multi line touch tone phones, filing cabinets, Fax machines, photocopiers and other office equipment.
